Hello, this is Hosinsaem.
I have returned from participating in the 32nd International Metaphysics Conference held in Shijiazhuang, Hebei Province, China, from April 12th to 17th, 2025.
This conference was
a meaningful event where metaphysicians and researchers from various Asian countries, including Korea, China, Singapore, Taiwan, Malaysia, and Vietnam, gathered to present their research成果 and share交流.
I participated in this conference as a presenter for the Korean delegation,
and I gave a presentation on the topic of "A Study on the Modern Interpretation of Gungupjae and Career Utilization Methods."
It was a very meaningful and grateful experience to be able to introduce the content I had been researching and contemplating for a long time directly on the international stage.
■ Impressive presentations by fellow researchers
Professor Baek Min (Professor, Graduate School of Oriental Studies, Seokyung University), who led the Korean delegation, shared deep insights from the classics through 'A Philosophical Study of Jungyong and Sijung',
and Teacher Lee Su-min (Ph.D., Wonkwang University) highlighted the connection between modern technology and traditional studies through 'AI-based Saju Analysis and Fusion Strategy of Orthodox Saju'.
Teacher Lee Min-ho (Representative of Simsan Myeongri Consulting) deepened the interpretation of the Saju structure through an analysis of 'the combined and impact effects of Sagoji'.
The presentations delivered in each position were not just a listing of knowledge, but a time when we could feel the philosophy and attitude towards the study itself.
■ 'The Gaze of Scholarship' Beyond Culture and Language
At this conference, I was able to interact with metaphysicians from various countries, including Chinese master of I-Ching, Teacher Wang Shaoyong, as well as Vietnam, Taiwan, and Malaysia.
Although the languages used were different, the 'unique gaze of those who study sincerely' and their attitude naturally resonated beyond nationality.
I realized once again that scholarship is ultimately a path that connects with the sincerity of humans.
In addition, it was also a meaningful opportunity to directly confirm the trend that the ancient wisdom of metaphysics is spreading globally beyond the East.
■ I will share it with photos and videos
Through the HosinsaemTV YouTube channel and this blog, I plan to organize and share the experiences from this international metaphysics conference with videos and photos.
I want to leave the materials that are academically valuable, beyond just being interesting, as records.
I would like to share and think with you about how the metaphysics we are studying is taking shape in the international trend, and what new perspectives are emerging within it.
I sincerely thank the blog neighbors who always study and support me, and I sincerely hope that these experiences will be of some help to your studies and thoughts.
Thank you. – Hosinsaem
